The firm was founded in 1987 and initially operated as an independent before joining a national staffing franchise in 1992. On April 18th, 2005, we formed GoodPeople and once again operate as an independent company backed by world-class resources.

The People behind GoodPeople:

Mignon Sweeney, PE (Partner/CFO) After completing her Masters in Chemical Engineering from Tulane, Mignon worked for five years in the Oil and Gas consulting business for EDG in Metairie, LA. Mignon juggled two careers until November 2005, and currently she is CFO of GoodPeople while facilitating meetings for our Management Team and Board of Directors. Mignon enjoys running, beach volleyball, being a "sneaky chef", and playing with her two boys.

Craig Sweeney (Partner/Executive Recruiter) Craig worked for four summers in direct sales for The Southwestern Company while at LSU. He brought that experience to the family business of Recruiting and has been in Sales, Management, and Recruiting since 1994. Craig still operates a "desk" specializing in Accounting/Financial and Executive Level searches. Craig enjoys running, occasional golf, beach volleyball, and spending time with family.
